Jan (in the blue parka) provided the vehicle after one of us put a note up on the CSU ride board, looking for passage from Colorado to Seattle. When we arrived in Seattle, Jan's friend Marie was a kind and generous hostess until I would board the Alaska Marine Highway's flagship, the Columbia, setting sail at the end of that week.
