Fall River, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
Since making this image in July of 2007 I've returned several times to make the same shot... I just like being there. This image has been very successful, and to me is a great example of how making just a little extra effort can really produce something nice.
When I returned last week I was shooting my F6 loaded with Ektachrome 100VS. It intrigues me how the same scene can appear so different at different times of the year, under different conditions. The water in this shot helped define the river down stream in the dark, descending canyon. In the film shot there wasn't the CFS to help the shot.
